All you need to do is download the freebie, create a layout that steps up to the challenge, upload it to your gallery, and post a link to your layout in a reply to this thread!

Here's the fun challenge:

February is the month of romance and those little candy hearts we crave so much...So this month let's scrap a layout (or more...lol) about love....Using at least three things from my freebie, scrap a page that lists five or more things that you love about yourself or someone else...Be creative and use shapes or express yourself with some fancy word art...Ideas are endless...Happy Valentine's Day!!! Don't forget to HUG someone today...<wink>

This is hte first time i have tried to download a freebie from here...All i got was a window of crazy text. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

paige3When you click on the freebie link and then click open, the file automatically downloads in your ScrapbookMax program. It's one of the features that makes this program so great!
If you are getting an error, try uploading it again...I didn't have any problems. Hope this helps...

Here is mine. It was hard choosing just 5 things that makes Mark the best husband ever. He has seen me at my very worst and still, here he is. The million little things he does for us takes my breath away. Long ago our hot water heater busted and the man actually took cold showers but boiled me pots of hot water so I could take a hot bath. He cooks dinner every night. He makes sure my son is growing up to be a kind gentle man that respects every living creature on earth.

Ok, finally got to this one here it is.

The overlay is from Crops, the Word Art (other than "Ron") is from "Wrapped in Love" kit from Fiona. I am not sure where the silhouette came from Sorry, Thanks to who ever. The rest is from Wolvsie's kit. Thanks for all the goodies. Oh and I tinted the Heart under Ron's name.

I love seeing how differently everyone uses these mini kits from challenges. It is so wonderful and helps us all to learn to think outside the box more often or better.

Lovely kit. Thank you Michelle. I made a Valentine card to send to family with 5 things I am sure they love. :D

"Our Family" is a free font called Camey. The valentine shapes at the bottom I made in RD and posted on the forum a while back. Everything else is from the kit but I did copy and crop the heart frame a few times so that it would be wide enough for my picture <hope that was OK>. I could have rotated the frame but the hearts would have been upside down and the love might fall out <couldn't have that :confused:> and I recolored the lacey heart embellishment.

My entree for the challenge, I didn't nominate my hubby for the challenge,............hehe.... this time. The word art in SBM just strike me and I think it fits our GD's personality. Hope this is ok !

Being new to photography and new-ish to scrapping, I haven't many pictures to use. Therefore, I resorted to an old hobby - browsing antique pictures and made up a short story about this woman looking back over her past as I look back at hers . . . or perhaps it is a mother and her 2 children . . .
