Well just to get things going they started witer break two days early as we had ice and rain then he was sick with another infection then he of all the kids and grand kids all know to stay away from the space heater well not travis he sat on it and with his spina bifida he didn't feel it he knew he wasn't suposed to touch it but just out of the blu he went ant did it anyway our seven year old came and told me and he had followed her and she said mommy travis sat on the heater and then she said travis show mommy he did and my goodness I called the hospital and then proceeded to the er from there we got a nice two hour amulamce ride to the univercity of Iowa City hospital and clinics to the burn unit there where we spent the night and then got to go home but now along with cathing boul treatments and daily bandage changes I have not had much time to myself I also have to get myorders done for polymer clay figures done am behind now by at least two weeks but now they are back in school and the burn is healing I will get caught up and also I still need to get my box ready for my exchange person I hope she'll like what Ihave planned to send so better get off the cumputer and get in gear.

My goodness!! I hope he is feeling better. Wow! You've had a busy few weeks! Take care of yourself as well. Don't get run down. This is a bad time of year to get your body run down so that you end up sick, too.

it's been a slow go here travis is healing well and now the doc for his bladder problems has decided to not go ahead with another surgery on the bladder as his kidneys will be futher damaged if they do so we are now cathing him at least six some time more a day and wolvsie can tell ya what a chore that can be . But all and all things are starting to get some better here, just if the darn snow would stop I'd be happy , I have problems in the winter months as I suffer from depression at this time of year spring summer and fall I have no problems but as soon as it gets cold and snowing I go down hill some have been on anti depressants for this and let me tell ya when Itry to stop taking them it's like someone who can't quit smoking the withdrawls are bad so I now am on the down side of ths as the doc has agreed to lower the dose some and we'll see how it goes from there. Ihave not even been doing any scrapbooking or any creatings of things ,I have been trying toget caught up on my Polymer clay art that I do ,I have just a couple more seasonal things then it will be time for me to get the wizard done for one of my customers for her hubby's birthday it will stand about 27 inches tall when done I will be going to the fabric store and looking fo the cloth for the outfit in the morning fun ya. Darn it's snowing again just got 4 inches yesterday. well will catch up with everybody in a couple of days till then take care, and love ya all

Rachel,so sorry to hear Travis sat on the heater, burns are such terrible things,I hope with treatment he will begin to mend asap.
Hard to imagine snow anywhere at the moment,in Sydney, its over 100 today, dreadful weather & fires have started already in the mountains, as I get older I am hating summer more & more.Hope it stops snowing for you soon.
Hope to see a pic of your finished Wizard, sounds fascinating, I love to see creations by clever people such as yourself.
Look after yourself, hope you start feeling better soon.
hugs Karyn.

I know I do not have the same problems but I was having on going infections in my bladder.I used Vitamin C.I learned in my pharmocology coarse that I took in 2002.What the Vitamin C did was crystalized the good urine so that if I had bacteria it would not get to the good urine but if you are on birth control it weakened its strength of the birth control. So it had its pros and cons. Also all these dept.stores etc---They use Toilet paper that can cause alot of urine infections as well as yeast.Bubble bath or perfumed soaps are not good either.

Also 100 mg of Vitamin B6 gives you more engery and a feeling of wellness and is great for stress. So that is all I know.Hope it can help.

Also those who sit for long periods ---blood pools in upper leg and causes swelling in lower legs as well as feet.I never had this problem in nursing just with this new job.I figured it all out before I went to get tested.Doctor agreed.:D
Hope allthese little tips will help someone.:)
