oh yes a new year and another year for me and the other designers to torture you with mind taxing challenges...life couldnt get better huh lol

this months challenge is a shapes challenge

attached is a smb file (zip file also for those who prefer to download that way) in this file is the alphabet in shape formate and a photo shape to help size everything

the challenge is to create pages that spell out words in photographs as per the example below

Rules:

1) Make a page or several using the photo shapes alphabet to spell out a word of your choice

2) the word MUST contain at least 3 letters

3) the page may have any theme or colour scheme but please remember to credit items used

4) pages can be as simple or elaborate as you like

How to use photo shapes instructions:

1) open a page in max

2) import photo blank shape in tool bar click on Add photo icon > My Computer > C Drive > Program Files > Scrapbook Max > Gallery > Images > Photos > FST-Photo-letter-Shapes

3) Right Click on photo shapes > properties > Tick Check custom Shape > Change Shapes > Find file FST-Photo-letter-Shapes > choose letter > ok > Ok

4) Double click on the photo shape > Change Picture > Browse > find photo you would like to use > ok > adjust as nesscessary > ok > ok

your letter shape photograth is now ready to size, place etc

simple example or using photo letter shapes on photographs

Here is one I did for a Christmas gift for my neice. I know these aren't the letters we are supposed to use but since I had it already made I will share this one for tonight. When I get back to my house and on my own computer I will make another one.
The star embellishment is one I got from the Holly Jolly blog train and I don't have the name to credit it tonight, but will make sure I get that posted tomorrow.

Got all month right???? LOL Do we have to use the alpha given or can we make out own??? and I am not saying I don't like that alpha, just wanted to know, that's all.....lol
