Dan and I were watching tv las night, the PBS channel, and they had a special on Victor Borgue. I never knew who he was. Well, he is the funnies guy.
So, we were watching the routine with the soprano... Let me tell you, I had to go upstairs and change my clothes. Get the picture? It was the funnies thing I ever saw. The whole program was hysterical. It was so good to be able to see something truly funny, clean, and musical at the same time.
Just thought I share. I'm still laughing.

I love Victor Borge. He was so hilarious, and kept it clean. I love the bit he did about his uncle who invented "4-Up". The testers who drank it didn't like it, so he added another ingredient and called it "5-up". Still no good, so he added one more ingredient and called it "6-up". It still didn't taste quite right. The he died, little did he know how close he came.
I also love the part about his "next window neighbor" because he didn't have a door on that side of the house. (Then he wipes his glasses and says, "I'll give you a few more seconds on that one."
Thanks for the memories, Granny. Now i have to see if my mom still has the Victor Borge DVD so I can watch it.

Oh, so good to see you like him too. I can't believe I never saw his stuff before. The one about the puntuation language will kill you, and the one where he has to keep his sheet music on the stand, wow, incredible.
I'm going to break down and buy the cd!!!
