View Full Version : Printing 12x12

Hi....I have downloaded a couple of kits and used others templates but when I went to go print them it said that 12x12 wasnt an option. I am so confused. How can I tell that 12x12 isnt an option before I start the pages? It seems like I have wasted so much time.

Where were you trying to print? Your printer? A professional print service. It could be you did not have the resolution necessary to print at that level without pixalation. Need more info as to who or what was telling you this.

If you're using Scrapbook MAX software....go to the "Page" tab, down to "Settings", then "Size", change page size to 12 x 12, resolution to 300 and export and "highest" and "full size". This works because I just did it a week ago.

"Usually" the page size defaults to 8x8 at 200 dpi SO if that is the size you have-- when you change it to 12x12, 300 dpi it will ask you if you want to resize all of the items <or something like that>. If you say YES, your page should look identical as 12 x 12 as it did as an 8x8 without you needing to change or correct anything.

Thank you so much! That did it. I didnt know that I had to change the size!
I have one more question....I was going to send them to get printed but I am not sure what looks better...matte or glossy?

I think this would be your personal preference.
If they are going in a scrapbook inserted into a plastic sleeve I personally think matte is better. I like matte the best but I think there are others who like glossy.
Sorry not much help am I.

I vote for matte, but that is personal choice. You will probably find as many that prefer glossy.

I prefer matte. I actually paid for one "luster" and one "standard matte" and I prefer the lesser expensive. It had better color and less "luster."
