What's Up With The Weather?

Ok, as you all know, Onie just moved to Mesa, AZ about a month ago and BAM!, a few days ago, her home gets destroyed by a "mircoburst" (that's Arizona jargon for "tornado").. I did talk with Onie and she's holding up pretty well considering the circumstances...

Now today, I'm watching the news, and 50-100 homes get destroyed in Barnstead, New Hampshire by a tornado. Well, I have a long-time friends there named Renee and Bob Leaonard... Now I'm worried cause I can't get hold of them...

Don't blame you for being worried, but perhaps the phone lines are down and that's why you can't get through. There was a lot of flooding going on before the storms too. Bad year for weather I guess. Hope your friends are ok!

Hoping they are ok Steve....The weather here has been odd too...A couple days of heat and now I'm wearing long sleeves...ugh..Good luck in getting a hold of them..

The weather here in Nova Scotia is wicked.The heat and humidity we are not used off.

I was able to leave a voicemail on my friend Renee's cellphone and she called me back yesterday morning... They are fine and staying with their parents in another part of the state.

Well, the "microburst" pretty much flatten everything within a 1/4 mile of their home on either side. A disaster area in 5 counties has been declared. There home was untouched (how lucky is that?)
