I know you can print out Scrapbook Max pages in many different sizes. Do you have to decide BEFORE you start making your page, or can you decide later?
Best to choose size before you start ~ otherwise when you decide to change page later there may be some distortion of papers, embies etc.

Thanks for the reply - that's very helpful. I'm tempted to do 12 x 12 since that's what I did with paper scrapbooking. Are there some major pro's and con's to the different sizes? Is there a certain size that is the most common to use? Right now I plan on having them printed somewhere else, not on my own printer ... I suppose that could change eventually.

The craft stores and even Walmart carries those cute 8 x 8 books. With that size you can print on a regular 8 by 10 sheet at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS or wherever. That would be a significant cost savings. Also if you use 8 x 8 at 300 ppi, that would be 2400 x 2400 pixels. The same layout at 12 x 12 would be 3600 x 3600 pixels which is quite memory intensive, especially if you are going for a complicated layout. And of course there are always the standard print sizes -- 4 x 6 can make great brag books! Good luck with whatever you decide and welcome to SBM!

I started out using 12x12 too--but soon found that the 8x8 size is every bit as nice and much cheaper to print. Depends on your personal preference of course. Welcome to SBM and hope you have fun here.
