Hi all,

Just got back from my mini vacation (had a great time), but came home to a dead computer. It wouldn't power up. I took it in and they said it could be the mother board (which I just had replaced) or it could have gotten zapped while I was gone. We had a storm in my neighborhood 2 days ago. It was plugged into a powersupply which is suppose to protect it, and the other things plugged into it are still working, so I am guessing that isn't it, but stranger things have happened. Any way, I will be without a computer again for at least a few days and maybe a week.

Just wanted to let you know I won't be around. (I am at my mom's right now).

I keep crossing my fingers that my computer keeps running! I'm so out of memory and keep locking up. Checked on getting my laptop upgraded but that would cost as much as a new computer. A new computer is not in my budget now..... I need to get the house in El Paso sold first! The biggest problem is that all the templates must be on the C drive, in order to use. I've been moving unused templates to my external HD, as to make room for all the new ones.

I would CRY and SCREAM if my computer crashed!!!!!

My heart goes out to U Sue

We have just had the same thing with my daughters. It was under guarantee but I lost the recipt ...grrrrr.....cost me £158. I don't think she could have survived without it if it had had to go back :D

I feel for you Sac, I've been fighting with mine for about a week but was lucky enough to get it back up and running. Thought it was a virus but was something else, only cost me about $40 for a program to fix mine, and a lot of headaches. But am happy, have almost everything caught up here and hope to get the rest caught up soon!! AND didn't lose a thing!! phew!!

Hi All,

I just got my computer back. 12 days without it ! Talk about withdrawls! It was the Motherboard again. That's twice now. They said after 3 times of computer problems, the next time they replace the computer. I don't want Vista so I hope that doesn't happen!

It will take a little while to catch up on everything.
