View Full Version : screen saver question?

I see that SBMax can publish as a screen saver. Is that a type of file that runs outside of scrapbook max or does a person have to have max on the computer to run it?
I want to publish as a screen saver and send by e-mail and then they can use it on their own computer? Possible at all? Or can someone guide me to software that will do that?

Crystal, I have not tried that yet, but screensavers are a special file that, once created and installed in your windows directory, run on their own. Your or the recepient would not need Max installed to run it.
Of course, the computer will self destruct about 5 minutes after you install it, but then...

I have two computers one with max on it and an older one without. I tried to email the file to myself but it said the file was not supported. :( so it does not work.
I ran accross a tutorial on the web for creating screen savers in powerpoint.
