This week's challenge is.............

Scrap Your Style

Using the pages you have made in the past you have to make a layout that shows several of them off so we can all see your style of scrapping

be as creative as you like...use old pages as backgrounds....cut them into frames, embellishments....have fun with them but you MUST have at least 5 of your ''old'' layouts within the new layout page

you can add embellishments and backgrounds BUT only if they are from the original scrapbook max cd's (be that the original, wedding or baby editions)

Rules

1) make a layout(s) showing off your ''older layouts''

2) you Must use at least 5 (five) of your older pages within the new page

3) extra papers, embellishments etc MUST come from the max content cd's

4) All pages to be posted in the gallery and either attached, inserted or linked into this thread

5) all pages to be in by sunday 11th May 2008

God this is a cruel challenge, Fiona. I don't even know if I have 5 using the same kind of style. My brain hurts - and please don't say "What brain?"

Hi all :)

I read and re read and read again and again to ensure that I did this right lol I used papers as my background from the patterns vol 2 - I used two of them blended together and dropped the opacity to get that effect. I used the flowers from the cd called believe in yourself and I used the frames from the booster pack off the cd which I re coloured and I hope that was permitted to do the re colouring? I re read again before posting this to make sure I did it all right lol gosh I hope I did lol I think I did arrrrr self doubt not a good thing lol

This is my layout for this Challenge. The background paper is from the original SBM program, swirls and the brads are from the original SBM program Butterfly Kisses.

these are all great, wish a could participate in this challenge, but I am away from home at the moment and don't have the sbm program with me. Will be away for about 3 weeks, so probably won't be in here as much. Again, wow these layouts are fantastic

Here's mine. I can't make things transparent, so my "wordart" is several text boxes in differnt fonts but I love using wordart, especially when I took a photo so long ago I don't know how to journal it. Since I had to use all SBM original stuff, I had to "make my own" but usually I use internet freebies. My pink background is from "Life is a Garden" in sbm, the brown is from the construction papers, and swirls are from "Plum Pudding" and the bleached edges are from "Sassy" - all in my sbm.

Do I have a Style? I do a sub-style once in a while that I like to call embellished photo. A single photo dominates the page with some embellishments to set off the photo subject. I liked the challenge I did one with Max content and one with my own.

Hooray, I made it with a few days to spare. This challenge was difficult since I deleted a lot of the original embies and papers from SBM over the years. I know I didn't meet the criteria of using all the original things, but you will still get to view my style. Do I have a style? I don't think so. Each layout depends on the photo or the challenge. Thanks to Autistic Wonder for her template page.

Advice to newbies--put SBM in front of all the files that were original to the program. It will help you in the future to identify them.
