happy monday everyone :D

for those who have been doing challenges for a while if you can remember back i told you to keep the beautiful alphabet handy that you recieved as a gift from NanaC95565 way back in week 5 ...well you may well need it this week :D

this weeks challenge is a form of the game scrabble!

you do not have to use the kit attached, you can make a version of your own, maybe you would like to make a crossword versions or use any other backgrounds you want but the idea of this challenge is to interlink alphabet letters or word arts around photographs to create a layout

attached is a kit containing, a scrabble board background, alphabet in a scrabble style and some wordarts to help you

Rules:

1) Use interlinking letters or wordarts wrapped around photographs make a layout (or several ;))

2) The page MUST have at least two interlinked words

3) The Theme of the pages is INTERLINKED (this should give you a wide scope of ideas, from family links to well almost any link you can think of lol)

4) All pages to be submitted by Saturday 26th April

5) On Sunday 27th of April there will be a vote for the best pages - prizes will be given to those who get the most votes

GD loving reading the book on potty training since she knows all about it. Made the double wordart with 2 interlinking words each. All items used are gifts from Fiona throughout the years - thanks.

What a great idea for a challenge. Don't know how you think of them.

My grandson, idolises his stepdad, even to the point of agreeing to have the same kind of haircut as Jamie. Well..... Jamie cut Dante's hair. Look what he left the poor kid with "An Hair Lariously Devilish Haircut".

Our peaceful, tranquil creek became a roaring river today after the heavy rains yesterday and last night. See the before picture from last summer compared to the flooding now. If you look closely, you can see the leaves marking the flood line before the water began to recede. I didn't get home in time to get the highest point but you can still see the debris that washed in. What a mess. At least it's not in the house! The house is some distance above the creek so it would take much more rain than this to reach us here.

Ok, here's mine. Looking at these old photos makes me miss rural Missouri. I found this one in my 2003 file.
Letter shapes came from Autisticwonder. The flames and photo mat were donated by Eyes in the freebie forums. The fire dog and ladder came from grannywin in the freebie forums. The blue glitter came from fucher74 and was an internet freebie.

I have only been participating since the last few weekly challenges but I love them. Everyone always makes amazing layouts. I enjoy seeing everyone else's work and getting new ideas and learning new things.

Finally, the other "granny" got on the board. Had to go take some pictures first and do the actual work that you see me doing. I liked Winter....it was too cold to do yardwork!

I love the variety that is being done with this set of tiles. Great imagination.

Our son's favorite hobby! From the time he was a little boy, it didn't matter how many crappie and blue gill we were reeling in, he just kept casting and reeling for the bass. Still his favorite fish to fish after all these years.

Granny,Granny,Granny...........Now everyone is going to know about my Mounty. Off course his name is "Sargent Woddie" from the town or Woodland. My husband offcourse doesn't know about him. I have had a hard time to hide the splinters around my neck lately. I have no intention of leaving my husband because I know through time Woddie will only rott. I have tried wood perserver but the last time we were together his........I hate to say this.................but here goes...............................his ears fell off.
